The Final Countdown

Good luck to all the entrants in the Irish News Workplace Employment Awards which will be presented at a gala event in Belfast on Thursday evening. The CIPD endorsed awards attracted entries from many of Northern Ireland's finest organisations large and small and John along with the other judges was very impressed with the quality and standard of applications. Celebrating Success...pdq

Several of our clients went along recently to Hillsborough Castle to receive their IiP certificates. We were delighted to be able to join them to celebrate their achievements. Well done! We will be offering a 'Beyond Recognition' workshop on friday 22 June at the Ramada Hotel Belfast at 9.30am

Just champion

At the CYP Annual Summer tournament it was a first and two seconds for CRGFC. Both the under 14 and under 16s were very unfortunate to get the final but despite some goalkeeping heroics in the penalty shoot out both lost on penalties to Mossley and Linfield girls respectively. In the youngest age group the Carrick Girls won the tournament with great performances from Lauren Glover,Holly Robinson, Jodie Beggs, Nicola Woodside,Cathy Dunne, Jane Buckley and Rebecca Anderson and captain Courtenay Green.

Next Match

The under 16s will play Newbridge Predators on Saturday 9th June meeting at Taylors Avenue at 12.30 , the younger group should meet at 11.45am for the match against Ballymena. Both games are at the Billy Neill Stadium

Premier Performance

Carrick Rangers under 15 girls produced an excellent performance to beat their counterparts from Blackburn Rovers four nil on bank holiday Saturday. Goals from Emma Murray (3) and Rebecca Nesbitt secured this fine win but this was a geniune team effort with some exceptional individual performances.

Next week CRGFC will have three teams participating in the Clubs for Young People seven a side festival at the Pavilion Stormont Estate kick off 10.30am. We will be leaving Taylors Ave at 9.15am . The girls will be competing at under 16 and two teams at under 14.

From Aughnacloy to Ballycastle

This investing in people knows no bounds and we are delighted to acknowledge the success of Pounhill Supervalu in Aughnacloy,Trolans Supervalu in Ballymoney, Moyle Enterprises in Ballycastle and Abacus Recruitment in belfast. All came through PDQ IiP group schemes and deserve great credit for the results they have achieved in their respective businesses. Well done!
